Mickey “Memphitz” Wright can't seem to catch a break with the law after his drama with singer and reality star K. Michelle.

Memphitz, who once held an executive role at Jive Records, has broken his silence after he was charged with armed robbery earlier this month and explained his version of what really happened.

“I was accused of running up at a car wash and attacking someone who stole money from my car. That’s what happened. I was accused. Allegedly.”

He did say the judge was a little lenient on him and allowed him to go to Los Angeles to finish a series for WeTV and another for Bravo (wonder what he’s working on!).

Still, he added, “It’s not over so I’m just laying low. I’m actually on my best behavior. The state is actually investigating to se what’s going on…my word against this guy’s.”

He did clarify that he did not try to rob the car wash venue.

“All I can say is, [forget] talking about I robbed a car wash.”

He admitted he could have behaved differently and is looking at up to two months behind bars.

The incident comes just after Memphitz was on edge following his lawsuit with K. Michelle. He sued her, Mona Scott Young and Viacom after she claimed on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta that he physically assaulted her. He requested to be given $15 million in compensatory damages and $50 million in punitive damages. He ended up losing the lawsuit against all parties.
