During Powerhouse 2014 in Brooklyn, New York, our Enstars Exclusives team caught up with entertainment's most polarizing host, Charlamagne tha God. Today (Nov. 11), MTV announced that the South Carolina native would return to host a new show called, "Uncommon Sense with Charlamagne." To piggy back off of his original show, "Charlamagne & Friends," MTV will gather comedians to pick apart social media trends.

The MTV press release read:

Uncommon Sense with Charlamagne curates the loudest social media topics of the week. Hosted by MTV2's Charlamagne tha God, the pilot will feature a panel of comedians and social media-inspired packages. The showrunner for "Uncommon Sense with Charlamagne" is Rich Korson, who previously served as a producer on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" and helped develop "The Colbert Report" for Comedy Central. Dara Cook, Darin Byrne and Paul Ricci serve as executive producers for MTV2.

Though he could not say much during the time of our interview, Charlamagne did discuss how he felt about his growing relationship with MTV. Not everyone can handle the commentary of Power 105.1's "Donkey of the Day" creator, but his new team seems to love it. "Charlamagne & Friends was dope... It's the evolution of that," he told our reporter.
