The Young and the Restless left off Friday with a major shock; Gabriel's true identity as Adam (both portrayed by Justin Hartley) has been revealed to majority of the Genoa City residents.

Heading into the episode set to air Monday, Oct. 5, the residents will all handle the news differently.

In the sneak peek teaser video that's below you can see a glimpse of what the news is causing.

One super angry resident is Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). She has been lied to time and time again in recent months and is still reeling from the entire Marco (Peter Bergman) ordeal.

"You have not only been lying to me, what about your brother?" Phyllis angrily asks Jack (also portrayed by Bergman) since Billy (Burgess Jenkins) has a complicated past with Adam and it is very apparent that Jack has been aware of Adam's return now.

If you need a refresher, Adam killed Billy's daughter Delia (Sophie Pollono) and didn't face any criminal charges since he faked his death.

In the episode on Monday, Billy will confront Adam as seen in the clip below and even Victor (Eric Braeden) will get involved.

Billy will flip a table and kind of get into Adam's face, but Victor will interrupt, shouting, "Enough!"

Also in the sneak peek teaser video, Nick (Joshua Morrow) will confront Sage (Kelly Sullivan) about whether she knew Adam was alive or not.

"Tell me you didn't know that Adam was alive," Nick pleads as tears well up in Sage's eyes.

The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
