Beyonce is sultry as the new poster girl for Swedish fashion brand H&M's ad campaign. The Bow Down singer signed with the global company to both appear in and co-design their summer 2013 collection. She will appear in both print and billboard ads, as well as television commercials. The upcoming print and outdoor ads that will read: "Beyonce as Mrs. Carter in H&M." 

The Halo singer is a beach beauty in the first ad photo, which was released on the company's website on Thursday. The Halo singer wore a tie-dye bikini from the H&M for Water line. Proceeds from that collection-twenty-five percent of retail sales- will be donated to the WaterAid charity.

Beyonce spoke to Women's Wear Daily, the fashion industry's leading trade publication, about her tropical getaway-themed photo shoot. She was shot by famed fashion and celebrity duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin in Nassau, Bahamas.

"It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial," Beyonce told WWD.

The Houston native also revealed why she collaborated with this fashion brand.

"I've always liked H&M's focus on fun affordable fashion," said Beyonce. "I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements - fire, water, earth and wind."  

The head designer for H&M also discussed the business union. Ann-Sofie Johansson, head of design at H&M, said the women's collection Beyoncé helped create is "full of her own personal style." 

Johansson said line includes the "perfect body-con dress," a slashed beach gown, high-waist shorts and a sleeveless shirt.

Another H&M rep told British VOGUE that Beyonce gave "personal input on the pieces seen in the campaign." 

The collection will be available in stores and online beginning in May.

Beyonce's previous design experience was the launch of her House Of Dereon clothing, shoe and accessory line she co-designed with her mother Tina Knowles. The mother-and-daughter design team launched the line in 2006 and discontinued it in 2012.

Beyoncé will head out on The Mrs. Carter Show 42-city world tour beginning next month. 

She released audio for her first single, Bow Down/I Been On, which is presumed to be from her upcoming album on her Tumblr blog Sunday.

Beyonce shared the song less than two weeks after the track list for her album was reportedly leaked. Bow Down/I Been On was not featured on the alleged track list.
