The 52-year-old singer who blew away the "Britain's Got Talent" viewers in 2009, is ready to settle down with the perfect man.

"I want to find a man but it's hard with all the travelling I do. I really want to start going on dates and I've asked my friends to set me up with a good man--if they can find one," she told British newspaper The Sun. "I'd like to settle down one day."

Boyle also spoke about her acting debut in the movie The Christman Candle. Originally, the Britain songstress was just supposed to record a song for the movie's album, but the film's excecutives were so impressed by her that she got a part in a kissing scene with actor James Cosmo.

"I have my very first husband--which is very exciting. It's been a long wait," she said. "I had to kiss him, too, as we had a kissing scene. It was my first on-screen kiss. It was lovely. I didn't know about the kissing scene when I signed up, but I wasn't complaining. I won't take this any further in case I embarrass him."

Boyle, also known as 'SuBo' by many of her beloved fans, admitted that although she has yet to find a perfect man, she has a huge crush on Gary Barlow.

"Gary Barlow, now there's a man. I think he's really cute," she said.

Earlier this year, Boyle wrote about her stardom in a Huffington Post blog.

"It has been another fantastic year- I've tried to rise to the new challenges and settle my fears that this will all be over soon," she wrote in the blog. "I'm enjoying myself more and feel that my life in my career as well as in my personal life is getting better."

Boyle is about to start her first live tour and she's very excited to hit the stage. She will be perfoming 24 tracks, including covers of Adele and Tina Turner's River Deep - Mountain High.

"I'm very excited, it's long overdue. I've been on my manager for some time to let me go live. He kept telling me, 'You're not ready yet,' but this time he feels I am," she said.
