Tom Cruise isn't slowing down on his extravagant spending for "Mission: Impossible 8" that it was revealed the whole production has already exceeded its budget.

Following the wrap of the seventh installment in the "MI" series, the movie already has a $380 million bill for the bosses, which is $65.5 million more than projected.

If Tom Cruise and the Hollywood moguls do not exercise caution with their expenditures, they may face bankruptcies again.

According to a source who talked with The Sun, the action movie actor doesn't do anything "half-heartedly," and the sequel, like "Mission: Impossible 7," is "going to be massive."

Indeed, according to the source, "no cost has been spared for this production."

Tom Cruise and the whole "Mission: Impossible" crew are said to have traveled to Limpopo, South Africa, to shoot, and they now have a big set up there.

He even spends most of his days in Hoedspruit but travels 400 miles round-trip in a helicopter, with costs courtesy of production budget.

"The action is just getting started on the set, and Tom will be working on some of the franchise's largest and most costly stunts to date."

Aside from his helicopter expenses, the father-of-three is said to have used three biplanes for feats he practiced in the UK last year.

Tom apparently learned to fly planes, and in this film, he'll be able to put his skills to use, since the "Mission: Impossible 8" sequences are "huge" and will include the "most amazing ever" in the series.

The pandemic produced several production complications for the seventh installment of the "Mission: Impossible" franchise.

The Sun claimed that production was delayed many times due to COVID outbreaks on set last year, which caused a slew of issues for Tom and the rest of the crew.

Furthermore, despite the high cost of the films, none have yet been released in theaters, and expenses are approaching $350 million, necessitating a crisis meeting with Paramount Studio.

Budgets rose as a result of the pandemic's interminable delays and many shutdowns.

"Mission: Impossible 7" was supposed to be released in September 2022, but it has now been pushed back to July 2023, with a budget that apparently surpasses almost $70 million.

"Even with someone as huge as Tom and these pictures, it's the kind of money that has leveraged the studio massively, and executives are keen to start seeing things on the screen," a Hollywood source told The Sun last week.

Tom Cruise is also renowned for preferring the "gold standard," as he instructed the production team about adhering to the COVID guidelines established in 2020.
