Amber Heard does not fear anything anymore after losing against Johnny Depp in the defamation trial.

Heard received the worst part of the post-trial as she would not surely lose all her fortune to settle the damages to Depp.

In a report shared by The Independent, Law&Crime's Angenette Levy confirmed that Judge Penney Azcarate finalized the verdict on Friday. Although she gave them more time to possibly reach a settlement, the judge also noted that it would be risky for the "Aquaman" actress to appeal due to the additional fees she would need to cover.

The judgment order states: "The jury verdict of $5m in punitive damages in favor of Mr Depp is hereby reduced to $350,000, the statutory cap ... with respect to the complaint, judgment is hereby entered in favor of Mr Depp against Ms Heard in the amount of $10,350,000, with interest at the statutory rate of six percent from the date of this order."

But Heard seemingly does not plan to have a settlement with Depp as she still insists she is innocent.

Following Friday's meeting, a spokesperson for Heard hinted at the potential appeal, although the move would pose more risks to her financial status.

"As stated in yesterday's congressional hearings, you don't ask for a pardon if you are innocent. And, you don't decline to appeal if you know you are right," the representative said, as quoted by Radar Online.

Her desire to appeal resonated with what attorney Lisa Bloom expected. Per the lawyer, the world is yet to see the end of Heard and Depp's legal battle as the case would soon be decided on appeal by the actress.

Attorney Lisa Bloom Says Something Was Wrong in Defamation Trial's Verdict

Bloom told BBC Newsnight that most defamation trials are decided on appeal. But for the estranged couple's case, she reportedly saw a lot of issues once the appeal happens.

The lawyer noted that this was due to the inconsistencies lurking around the "inconsistent" verdict since the jury found both Depp and Heard as victims.

For what it's worth, the jury said Heard defamed Depp in his 2018 The Washington Post op-ed. The actor's former lawyer was also found guilty of slandering her by calling her claims a hoax.

"How can it be that Amber Heard was defamed when Johnny Depp's lawyer said that her allegations were a hoax, and yet Johnny Depp was also defamed when she said she was representative of domestic violence? I think that's inconsistent, and you can't have an inconsistent verdict," she went on.

In the end, Bloom revealed she expects the trial to end in a year or two.
