Timothée Chalamet and Selena Gomez have set the record straight about the viral Golden Globes 2024 moment that had everyone speculating.

A video of Gomez chatting with Taylor Swift and Keleigh Teller at Sunday's ceremony sparked speculation that the trio was gossiping about Chalamet and his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner. Social media buzzed with theories that Jenner had turned down Gomez's request for a photo with Chalamet.

But on Tuesday, Gomez took to Instagram to shut down the rumors and reveal the real topic of their conversation.

"Noooooo I told Taylor about two of my friends who hooked up," the 31-year-old singer commented on an E! News post. "Not that that's [anyone's] business."

Chalamet also cleared the air when TMZ caught up with the actor in Beverly Hills Monday night and asked him about the feud rumors involving him, Jenner, and Gomez.

The "Wonka" star told the outlet that "of course" there was no bad blood between him and Gomez, with whom he co-starred in the 2019 film, "A Rainy Day in New York."

Chalamet also denied the claims that his girlfriend snubbed Gomez at the Golden Globes.

The rumor began after a video from the awards ceremony showed the Rare Beauty founder hunched over a table chatting with Swift and Teller.

Lip reader Jeremy Freeman claimed to Page Six that Gomez allegedly said, "He didn't want a picture with me. He said no."

Fans suggested that at one point, Teller appeared to ask, "Timothée?"

Gomez then nodded her head in response, while Swift opened her mouth in shock.

However, multiple reports debunked these rumors.

According to an unnamed insider who spoke to Us Weekly, Gomez didn't approach Jenner and Chalamet at the Golden Globes or ask for a photo with the actor.

An anonymous source also told E! News that the "Good for You" hitmaker "never saw" the couple at the ceremony.

Gomez attended the Golden Globes as her Hulu series "Only Murders in the Building" received five nominations. She was up for best actress in a television series - musical or comedy but lost to "The Bear's" Ayo Edebiri.

Chalamet, nominated for best actor in a motion picture - musical or comedy for "Wonka," attended with Jenner but did not win.

An eyewitness at the event told Us Weekly that Chalamet and Jenner were inseparable during the evening. The couple sat close, engaging in an intimate conversation with their legs interlocked.

Gomez, on the other hand, mingled with friends and co-stars before reuniting with her boyfriend, Benny Blanco.

She later shared a photo of her kissing Blanco on Instagram Story, captioning it, "I won."
