Selena Gomez seemingly had a change of mind after posting some sultry snaps on Instagram.

Over the weekend, the "Only Murders in the Building" star took to the social media platform to share two selfies where she was wearing a black strapless bra that almost made her suffer a wardrobe malfunction. In the snaps, it appeared as if a wrong move would lead to a nip slip.

In the now-deleted photos, she kept her long wavy hair to the side and her makeup natural-looking. But her choice of bold red lippies made a statement.

While the 31-year-old celebrity has already removed the pictures from her page, some accounts were able to save and repost them on other social media platforms, like X, formerly Twitter.

Pop Tingz was quick to repost Selena's selfies, leading to a high engagement tweet -- 27 million views, over 8,100 retweets, 75,000 hearts, 20,000 bookmarks and 3,600 responses. Netizens shared mixed reactions to the photos.

"She looks BUSTED," one X user quipped.

"And she bullies Hailey Bieber?" another netizen claimed.

"Notice how she has been lately showing her boobs for attention because no one cares about her face and personality anymore. Pathetic," accused a different netizen.

"Bra begging for dear life," said another commenter.

Amid the negative tweets, many praised the actress-singer, pointing out that she still looked good despite her health condition.

"She's going through a lot health-wise, but it doesn't dampen her spirits. She is OK with not being a supermodel, and she thinks she may never be, but she's a queen of pop culture, so let's give her that," opined one X user.

"I don't like her, but she has lupus disease. She also had a kidney transplant. She takes a lot of medication into her body. In certain months, her weight increases, cortisone, etc. Then her body returns to normal again. You all seem in a race to be disgusting when talking about women's bodies," wrote a second commenter.

"She's a queen no matter what," stated another person.

"I can so relate with Selena on the major changes our body experiences. The meds from the autoimmune condition, she's probably on the pill too. Love that she shows it all. So gorgeous and hot," someone else said.

The "Wizards of Waverly Place" alum has been living with lupus for more than a decade. She was diagnosed with this autoimmune disease in 2013 and underwent chemotherapy to treat it.

Lupus is a long-term disease that can cause inflammation and pain in any part of the body. It occurs when the immune system, which usually protects the body from infection and disease, attacks healthy tissues instead, according to the National Institutes of Health.
