Rachel To Assault Santana Over Funny Girl Incident In Glee's Midseason Premiere?

The cast and crew of Glee spoke with Entertainment Weekly recently about the future of the show as they leave McKinley High behind. Executive producer Brad Falchuk said that Glee will deal with post-high school life issues moving forward.

"We are gonna take some time just in NY. See where that takes us," Falchuk said. "We're really excited about adult stories out of high school when nobody gives a hoot about you. How does that feel to suddenly be nobody from being the biggest hero?"

This big adjustment will also affect Blaine's (Darren Criss) relationship with Kurt (Chris Colfer) as they get ready to move in together in New York.

"When you move in with somebody in any relationship, it's going to be a challenge. I think they are going to face some challenges together and see if they can get through them or not," Criss said, discussing Blaine and Kurt. "There are some cool, very adult themes that are exciting to explore. Fans that have gotten older while watching the show can relate."

Joining Kurt, Rachel (Lea Michele) and Santana (Naya Rivera) in New York will be Blaine, Artie (Kevin McHale), who is going to film school and Sam (Chord Overstreet), who will be pursing his modeling career. Michele noted that Amber Riley, who plays Mercedes, will also show up in a few episodes.

Glee season 5 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on Fox.
