In the just released preview of the episode, Birds of Prey, the two women are seen at each others throats.

In the clip, viewers see Helena (the Huntress) is back in town and will be up to no good. Helena will be taking hostages, one of whom will be Laurel (Katie Cassidy), who is the Canary's sister. Somebody seems to warn the Canary in the video saying that Helena will kill all of the hostages. When the Huntress asks about who the Canary is, she is told that she is Oliver's "psycho ex-girlfriend." The video builds up to the final showdown between the Huntress and the Canary.
