One of the stars of The Cosby Show is going from family-friendly comedy to intense drama as he is set to appear in Sons of Anarchy this fall.

Sons of Anarchy Season 7 Premiere Date Set For Early September

Malcolm-Jamal Warner, best known for playing Theo Huxtable on The Cosby Show, has been cast for a recurring role in Sons of Anarchy, according to a new report by The Hollywood Reporter.

Warner will be playing a character named Sticky, one of the "Grim Bastards" who is the right-hand man of T.O. Cross (Michael Beach). He will be appearing in at least two episodes of the new season, including the premiere episode, which is set to be 105 minutes.

In addition to Warner, the upcoming seventh (and final) season of Sons of Anarchy will feature several other special guest stars. Other guest stars set to make appearances include rockers Marilyn Manson and Courtney Love.

Manson is set to play Ron Tully, a white supremacist Jax (Charlie Hunnam) enlists in prison to help expand his power base. Meanwhile, Love will be playing Mrs. Harrison, the preschool teacher of Jax and Wendy's (Drea de Matteo) son Abel.

The final season of FX's motorcycle drama takes place 10 days after the horrific event at the end of Season 6, with Tara (Maggie Siff) being murdered by Gemma (Katey Sagal).

The final season of Sons of Anarchy is set to begin Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
