This Sunday marks the 85th Academy Awards in Los Angeles, Ca. One of the categories getting a significant amount of attention is the contest for Best Actress. Unlike the competition for Best Actor, the respective female race seems to have a more intangibles to it, as Jennifer Lawrence and Jessica Chastain appear to be the favorites.

The Fifty Shades of Grey movie casting competition continues to dominate the Internet. One of the fan favorites, Man of Steel's Henry Cavill, was photographed donning a dapper tie similar to that of Christian Grey, which is leading many fans to speculate whether his recent wardrobe choice was a coincidence or intentional.

People may think that in the director category, Ben Affleck got robbed by the Academy this year, but consider this: Alfred Hitchcock never won a competitive Oscar. Actor Peter O'Toole was nominated eight times but never took home the award. If that doesn't prove the Academy doesn't vote with posterity in mind, I don't know what could.
