The Disney company and the movie's creative brass will surely have big shoes to fill in terms of plot for its highly anticipated blockbuster movie, Star Wars: Episode VII.

With many of the franchise's loyalists have been seemingly disappointed by its recent movies, director J.J. Abrams will undoubtedly have the daunting task of turning that around. However, while those expectations aren't easily reachable, the mastermind clearly has what it takes to parlay it into the mega hit that it's expected to be.

With Abrams at the helm, In Entertainment speculated that the movie would have more complexity and substance to it. With Star Trek on his resume, amongst many other notable works, fans are depending on the director to deliver them a product of blockbuster proportions.

The site also goes on to say that the new trilogy won't necessarily be tying into the expanded story as a whole, which may or may not serve to give it what some fans feel is a much needed fresher look.

According to News, several of the SW loyalists have chimed in on the upcoming storyline, and several of them would like to see Jar-Jar Binks killed off instantaneously. Others miss the presence of Darth Maul's involvement.

Interestingly enough, the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed game suggests that Galen "Starkiller" Marek may be a possibility as one of the villains while others feel that Aayla Secura would be a more suitable choice.

According to Movie Fone, "the trilogy episodes will alternate with standalone movies, rumored to focus on characters like Yoda, Boba Fett, and a young Hans Solo."

Since purchasing Lucasfilm from George Lucas in the fall, Disney has continued to make several significant changes to the Star Wars franchise.

What Culture reported that Star Wars: Episode VII is slated to be set around the time period following the events of Return of the Jedi.

The movie is slated to be released at some point in 2015.
