Oscar Leonard Carl Pistorius "Blade runner" first competed with able-bodied athletes in 2007. His appearance generated a lot publicity that he had an unfair advantage over able-bodied athletes with "Cheeta Flex-Foot carbon fibre artificial limbs"

This year's winner of the Nathan's Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest are Joey "Jaws" Chestnut and Sonya "The Black Widow" Thomas. Joey Jaws ate a whopping 68 hot dogs in ten minutes. Sonya, who only weighs around 100 pounds, broke her previous record of 41 by wolfing down on 45 hot dogs and buns earlier today.
