The flip phone may be the trend again as Apple has recently been granted a patent for a flexible phone that can fold in half and grip in one's clothes. In 1990s Motorola introduced the flip phone concept. The patent was actually filed in July 2014 which shows that Apple has been planning to build a smartphone which will have a flexible display with a hinge on one side.
