Family members of Hector Camacho are keeping a somber vigil alongside the former boxer who was declared brain dead after he was shot in the face. On Tuesday, Nov. 20, Camacho was shot in the face in Puerto Rico. while sitting in the passenger's seat of a car. the driver was also shot but killed. Camacho was declared brain-dead on Thursday. Family members have not disconnected the three-time world champion from a respirator. They have chosen to keep him on life support until at least Saturday. An aunt of the boxer, Aida Camacho, said his familyare trying to decide if they want to donate his organs should they agree to take him off of life support.
