The second season of Showtime's The Affair will hopefully lead to questions being answered.

Find Out When 'The Affair' Will Return For New Episodes

On Thursday, a new video was released of the cast members behind the scenes as they dish on what happened in the first season and how it'll lead into more bizarre outcomes.

Ruth Wilson, who plays Alison, revealed that her character will discover what's going to happen following her indiscretion with Noah. The result of that has yet to be released.

"We launch into the consequences of Noah and Alison's affair," Wilson said.

Meanwhile, Cole and Helen's perspectives will be seen...and according to Wilson, their views will be just as "dark and dangerous" as Noah and Alison's.

The actors also gave some insight on how everyone is a suspect of Scott's murder. While Noah is taken to jail and charged with vehicular manslaughter, there are still burning questions lingering on what really went down.

Wilson mentioned that Noah and Alison's relationship will have some challenges since it's so difficult for them to be honest with each other.

Joshua Jackson (Cole) pointed out that the whole concept of the series is to have mysteries resolved when the characters make their own discoveries along with the audience.

"The point is to actually live in these uncomfortable moments," Jackson said. "And you're figuring it out as they're figuring it out."
