The Discovery Channel will premiere its new adventurous series Pacific Warriors this Friday (also known as tomorrow, Oct. 23)!

This brand new series follows men and women in Hawaii that are all about deep-sea fishing. This kind of fishing generally means they're on the hunt for incredibly large fish while in a kayak and they can be dragged all the way out to sea.

These select individuals risk their lives to do this kind of fishing, in which they an reel in a 100-plus pound fish. Just a single catch can bring in $1,500 or more!

These men and women even fend off sharks and they each have their own style of deep-sea fishing. Kimi Werner, for instance, has quite the dangerous style of free diving to depths of 150 feet to catch fish.

"Though being brave is part of the job, having an appropriate amount of fear and trepidation is healthy, and is what keeps me alive," she said in a press release, adding, "It reminds me that I'm really so small and humbled in this big ocean. I think the people who forget that are the ones who end up in danger."

We were given two sneak peeks into the series premiere of this deep-sea adventure!

In the first sneak peek, which is below, Werner is free diving off the coast of Oahu.

"The dangers that you face when you're in the ocean are endless," she said in the video clip, adding, "You have one breath and just one shot to try and make this all happen."

In this particular clip, Werner is hunting for octopus with just four minutes of air in her lungs as she scours the sea's floor.

Werner equates the hunt for octopus to "the most extreme Easter egg hunt you've ever been on."

Werner will struggle capturing any octopuses since she deemed them "escape artists."

In the other sneak peek, which is below, viewers are treated to a rundown of all the remarkable the kinds of fish you can find just off the coast of Hawaii and the general explanation of the show.

There are tunas weighing 100 pounds and marlins weighing 500 pounds.

Several of the men and women are seen as they go on these wild adventures hoping to catch the biggest fish they can find so they can earn loads of money.

Pacific Warriors airs Friday nights at 10 p.m. ET on Discovery Channel.
