The diner might be in serious trouble when 2 Broke Girls premieres its fifth season.

'2 Broke Girls' Star Is 'Getting Strong' For Upcoming Episodes

On Thursday, Broadway World released the storyline for the first episode of the new year when Max, Caroline and the employees of the diner work together to save their business as the city goes after it. The site mentioned it'll be a "frantic attempt" so it might be more of a serious situation than what might be assumed.

In better news, Sophie and Oleg will announce they're trying to have a baby. But will that come with a convenient ending or will there be more to it than that?

Another thing that fans can expect this season is a Barbara Streisand impersonator played by Jimmy Wachter, someone who's impersonated the singer before. In an interview with CNY Central, Wachter opened up on how he managed to snag the role on the CBS sitcom considering one of his friends is a Hollywood agent.

"The producer wanted me to send in a new video, so we went into my backyard, taped something, sent it off and then two days later they called me and gave me the job," Wachter said.

The performer then mentioned that he hopes Streisand, herself, will see the episode when he'll be taking her form.

"I hope she calls me up to say she doesn't really act like that," Wachter said. "The episode is hysterical, I can't wait to see it. The jokes are really funny."

2 Broke Girls Season 5 premieres on Thursday, November 12 at 9:30 p.m. ET? On CBS.
