Jessica Simpson, who announced she was pregnant on Christmas Day, stepped out to go to the gym on Wednesday and sported a massive baby bump. 

Simpson, 32, has yet to reveal when her baby is due but in the photos posted on TMZ it could be a lot sooner than her fans think. The singer-turned-fashion designer wore workout gear in her quest to remain as healthy as possibly before she gives birth this year.

Sporting a black hoodie, T-shirt and sweatpants while toting a large bottle of Smart Water, the Fashion Star mentor was all smiles on her way to work up a sweat.

Simpson, who is spokesperson for Weight Watchers, will have to snap back into a shape after giving birth; she gave birth to her daughter, 8-month-old Maxwell Drew, in May of 2012. Simpson couldn't be happier about her second pregnancy -she reportedly "screamed with joy" when she learned she was having a boy with her fiance NFL player Eric Johnson.

"It's Jessica's dream come true, she prayed she was having a boy," a close family source told Radar Online.

Simpson, 31, found out the sex of the child during a routine doctor visit in January. The source said the couple is elated and are already thinking of names for their son.

"She found out this week after a check-up at the doctor, who asked her if she wanted to know the sex of the baby. Jessica immediately said yes and when the doctor told her it was a boy she screamed with joy," the source said. "What with everything going on in her personality life, and her problems with her father, this has given her something to smile about."

Simpson originally planned to reserve the name Maxwell for a son so they will have to think of something else, the source added.
