Jay didn’t seem to be a fan of making their business relationship personal, but it looks like they both decided to come around when they considered how it could help their careers. Jay could allegedly “smell the brand” and it definitely worked for both of them as Jay Z could use a little help crossing over into mainstream; and Beyonce was hoping to get a little more street cred.
