Will the second half of this season of ABC's Once Upon a Time introduce the whole world of Hercules?

'Once Upon a Time' Showrunners Talk 'Regina the Savior' Story Arc

Once Upon a Time fans already know that they will be meeting Hercules, Megara and Hades, played by Jonathan Whitesell, Kacey Rohl and Greg Germann, respectively. But now is there a possibility we'll meet other Hercules characters like Zeus as well.

The Once Upon a Time co-creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz were asked by Entertainment Weekly if fans will be introduced to Zeus and get a view of Olympus in episodes to come. While Kitsis and Horowitz were coy, their lack of a concrete answer suggests they may have a plan in mind already.

"That's a great question," Horowitz said, to which Kitsis finished, "But we can't say."

The second half of season 5 will feature our heroes heading down to the Underworld to save Hook (Colin O'Donoghue). The co-creators also spoke on the kill/death rules down in the Underworld.

Asked if characters' presence in the Underworld meant they couldn't kill or be killed, Kitsis simply said, "Nope," adding, "they can die. They can kill."

Horowitz said that "there are new consequences that are outlined," and Kitsis explained that, "There are things that apparently are worse than death."

Luckily, our heroes won't be spending the entire rest of the season in the Underworld.

Once Upon a Time season 5 returns on Sunday, March 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
