James Kennedy wants to be included in a Vanderpump Rules cast trip to Hawaii, but there's one big problem.

Although Kennedy has established friendships with a number of his co-stars, his relationship with Jax Taylor remains strained--and Taylor initially didn't want him to be a part of his joint birthday trip with Tom Sandoval. However, despite Taylor's past feelings about Kennedy, he has reportedly had a change of heart.

"I spoke to Jax yesterday and he basically just said I'm welcome to go to Hawaii," Kennedy reveals to boss Lisa Vanderpump in a new sneak peek. Then, when Vanderpump notes Taylor's past comments, Kennedy admits, "I don't really know if he wants me to go. He was just being a bit of a wanker."

According to Vanderpump, she thinks Kennedy's motive in going to Hawaii is to hook up with Lala Kent, whom Taylor has shown interest in the past. And while Kennedy said there was no competition, he proceeded to insult Taylor in his confessional. 

"I hate to compare myself to someone as stupid as Jax, but, you know, I'm striving to become the best I can be, and, you know, he's still struggling to make a f**king Cosmopolitan correctly."
