What Is 'Vanderpump Rules' Star Kristen Doute Saying About James Kennedy Cheating On Her?

In a new interview, Kent spoke of her current relationship with Kennedy, who was seen hooking up with another SUR hostess named Lauren on Monday's new episode.

“I’ve always clicked with James,” Kent said during an interview with Radar Online on Wednesday. “I wasn’t initially attracted to him like that. But like I said, no matter what our title may be, we’re always going to be the closest of friends.”

“I had known him for a long time,” she continued of her relationship with the season four wild child. “I’ve been going to Sur since I was 18 years old, so I’ve seen employees come and go. Even before we started filming, I knew James. We just have always hit it off, so no matter what, we were going to be friends."

Prior to his interest in Kent, Kennedy had been dating Kristen Doute, and when asked about the split, she didn't speak highly of Kennedy.

“[He’s] a little immature, belligerent, maybe an a**?” Doute told Radar Online last month after splitting from Kennedy. “It’s no big shocker that we break up. I got sick of taking care of him and cleaning up his messes.”

Vanderpump Rules season four airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
