Not only will they be forced to compete in a race around the world without having access to their online worlds that have made them famous, but the newest cast of The Amazing Race will also have to prepare for the most unique start in the show's history.

Marty & Hagan Think Being 'Off The Radar' Will Give Them An 'Edge'

Teams normally all get a chance to meet at a specific starting line, and often start making bonds and determining who they'll form alliances with on first flights to the first destination-but in a sneak peek at the first few minutes of the season 28 premiere, they will all be shocked after receiving a video message from Phil telling them the race is beginning immediately-and they're all leaving from their own homes.

Naturally, the teams are not only excited-but also shocked and flustered as they prepare to race out of their houses to avoid being the first ones eliminated.

Britt & Jess Trying To Prove They Can Do 'Guy' Things Too

"What we're starting right now? What the heck?" Zach says as he and his wife Rachel prepare to leave their house.

"To get that message from Phil and to be starting right now, it's so surreal!" Brodie says as he and Ultimate Frisbee team mate Kurt take a taxi to an airport near them.

"We're racing from home? Like...what's going on?" Dana asks as she and fiance Matt also prepare to begin their journey.

However, the goodbye is also more emotional than some of the ones from seasons past, as Vine star Cole and his mother Shari prepare to leave their big family behind with tears in their eyes before they hop in a cab to the airport.

The Amazing Race season 28 premieres tonight at 8 p.m. on CBS.
