The Bible miniseries on the History Channel has seen an immense amount of success in a short period of time, which is no wonder why hoards of viewers have taken to the Internet after noticing similarities between the Satan character and President Barack Obama in last night's episode.

When Mohamen Ouazanni donned the role of the fallen angel, a number of Twitter users had no qualms about pointing out the similarities between the actor and Obama on Sunday's episode.

Among those who agreed was Glenn Beck, who had initially tweeted that the popular series was "one of the most important shows in decades," only to follow it with another post of a screenshot of Ouazanni. He then queried others to see if they thought he looked like "That Guy," referring to Obama.

"Anyone else think the Devil in #TheBible Sunday on History Channel looks exactly like That Guy?" Beck wrote on March 17.

Ouazzani has starred in multiple films revolving around faith, which includes The Ten Commandments, The Satanic Angels, Jeremiah and David.

Joshua Dubois, former head of the White House faith office, said that he felt those making the comparisons between Obama and Ouazzani were getting carried away.

"Re: Satan in #TheBible, I see way more Sith Lord than anything else. I think folks are reaching. #JustSayin," he tweeted.

The Bible is produced by reality television producer Mark Burnett along with his wife Roma Downey. Burnett has made donations to Democratic causes in the past while Downey is know for being very religious and also produces Little Angels, a children's Christian program.

The Bible will next air on the History Channel at 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 24.
