It's been a paintful ride for Marcel after losing Davina on The Originals, but there might be some people he can turn to for help.

On Thursday, Entertainment Weekly shared an interview with Charles Michael Davis (Marcel) who dished on his grieving process after Davina's death as well as how it affects the people around him. At this point, Marcel is able to connect easier with Vincent since they've gotten to know each other better.

"I think [Marcel] can trust him because he knows his story, he knows where he stands with his alliances," Davis said. "He's not a questionable ally as far as intentions go- that makes it easier for Marcel to trust him."

The actor also pointed out how his character is not getting along with Kol, but that might have to change since there's only so many people left to rely on.

"He's part of the Mikaelson family so I feel like if you take on one or two, you're definitely taking on...that's pretty much the majority now, so you're definitely taking on all of them," Davis said with a laugh. "The family's getting smaller and smaller, so there's nothing they can do but stick together."

As for the one person he can't talk to, it's doubtful that Marcel will be able to go to Josh right now.

"That's the thing: You can't trust Josh because he's there sometimes and he's not there others," Davis explained. "He just shows up randomly and doesn't really talk about what's going on with him, where he's at internally. With Vincent, he wears his emotions on his sleeve."

The Originals airs on Fridays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW. The series has been renewed for a fourth season, which is expected to premiere this fall.
