A Banshee star is moving on to another TV series.

On Thursday, TV Line announced that Trieste Kelly Dunn snagged herself a role in the upcoming CBS series Bull. Dunn is known for playing Deputy Siobhan Kelly on Banshee before the final episode aired earlier this year.

In her guest role, the actress will play a commercial airline pilot. Apparently, this might lead into a discussion of gender roles after a plane crash takes place.

Dunn's other credits include United 93, Cold Weather and The New Year.

Bull is set to premiere on Tuesday, September 20 at 9 p.m. ET.

As for the future of Banshee, there was some speculation that the series could get a spin-off although that's not guaranteed, according to executive producer Jonathan Tropper.

"I think the only way any kind of spinoff or sequel would happen would be if I had a clear vision of a great new show featuring some of these characters, and I would have to pitch it to Cinemax like any other show," Tropper said in a report from HBO Connect.

The producer also dished on Lucas and Carrie's ending and why it didn't work out the way audiences would've wanted. Unfortunately, they can't have their happy ending given all the chaos they've dealt with.

"Lucas and Carrie will always love each other," Tropper said. "But they have done too much damage to ever be together again as lovers. People they love have died, and they have a degree of responsibility for that. Carrie deceived her family for years. Lucas showed up and caused all sorts of mayhem. Siobhan is dead. Gordon is dead. They can't just say, 'Oh well, that's sad but pretty damn convenient,' and climb back into bed together."
