Trade rumors starts to swirling around Atlanta Hawks' forward Paul Millsap as of late. News are saying that the Hawks are said to be considering of trading him before the trade deadline expires in February. If the reports are true, he could be one of the most sought after superstar to be available.

Before the regular season start, Millsap have already been linked in numerous trade deals but none of those deals have ever prosper. And after the Hawks lost two of their superstar, Al Horford and Jeff Teague, in free agency last summer, Millsap, Kyle Korver and Dennis Schröder was tasked to carry the team in their absence.

But recent reports are spreading that the Hawks have started listening to trade offer for Millsap plus two of his teammates. According to SB Nation, with Paul Millsap's expiring contract will take effect after this season together with Kyle Korver and Thabo Sefolosha contracts too, it's not surprising that the Atlanta Hawks are exploring their option with regards to the three players involved.

The report also says that Millsap will not take the player option for next season for the Hawks, as everyone expected, to try to get a max contract with the Hawks or with other teams. With this notion, the Hawks are seriously weighing their option about him.

And if they feel that Millsap could be on his way out, if would be best to trade him right now to get a valuable asset in return and prevent like what happened to Al Horford who left as a free agent and lose him for nothing. And teams like the Denver Nuggets, Toronto Raptors, and Oklahoma City Thunder have already shown their interest to the superstar forward as per stated in the report.

CBSSports also reported that though Millsap never confirm his decision about opting out, there is still a big possibility that he might really opt out and it all depends on how their season will work out with them and what the Hawks team are offering for their future.

One factor that seems to be also being taking into consideration by Hawks of trading Millsap, Korver and Sefolosha is that all are aging players and could be in the twilight of their careers. Is trading Paul Millsap, Kyle Korver and Thabo Sefolosha before the trade deadline makes sense for the Atlanta Hawks?
