The biggest search engine company, Google is anticipated to launch its upcoming devices namely, Google Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 this year. The said handsets will reportedly sport revamped specs like 2K display, enhanced Camera, VR technology and other amazing feature.

According to Mobile & Apps, the Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel XL 2 is rumored to be released in October. Also, Google may still see HTC as the partner for its upcoming smartphone's development. A lot of tech enthusiasts believe that it may not be possible for HTC to announce another size for its Pixel release in 2017.

Additionally, Google could also present a waterproof and dustproof design for the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 since this technology is already necessary feature in smartphones. An upgrade from an IP58 to an IPS67 is anticipated for both Pixel handsets.

Aside from that, Google is predicted to offer 2K screens for both the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL. It was noted last year that the tech giant made only 2K display available for the Google Pixel XL and there are a lot of patrons who wanted to see the same technology in the Google Pixel.

Tech Times also noted that the Pixel 2 is anticipated to boast a 5-inch screen. It may also get upgrades to the 2,560 x 1,440 QHD resolution boasted by the Pixel XL. Google is also believed to improve the battery of the next-gen Pixel smartphones. This would mean that these handsets will deliver better performance with less battery drainage. The two phones could also get a memory boost and get an upgrade from 4 GB of RAM to 6 GB of RAM.

When it comes to the camera department, the capabilities of the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 could also get improved. As a matter of fact, the gadgets may have a dual-camera set-up just like the iPhone 7 Plus. The upcoming smartphone from Google might bring support for OIS, which will help users in taking clearer pictures. There is also a high probability that the upcoming Pixel phones feature tri-camera technology.

Lastly, as the popularity of VR is increasing, it is supposed that the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 will be unveiled along with the second generation Daydream VR.

With the Google Pixel and Pixel XL has enticed buyers, the biggest search engine company hoped for the Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel XL 2 to have the same fate. Moreover, concrete information about these devices is anticipated to be released soon.
