Apple has just recently released a brand new version of its latest iOS mobile operating system, iOS 10.3 Beta 1. The new update however is still pretty much in the development stage and as such is only available for developers, or those with an Apple developer account. The update itself will be available for newer iPhones and iPads and interested users should now be able to download and update their devices.

The company already released the patch notes for iOS 10.3, as reported by Yahoo. However, the notes didn't really reveal the entire picture as users have now discovered some nifty new features on the update that weren't really that detailed in the patch notes.

One of the most talked about features in the new iOS 10.3 update is the new Find My Airpods features. The system is basically just how it sounds as it will let users track down their lost Airpods by getting information on where it had last paired up with their iPhone or iPad.

The Airpods of course, do not have any GPS capabilities, which is why users will only be getting a rough estimation of where the AirPod was last connected to a device. The new option is made available via the Find My iPhone app.

Other new features include the Apple ID Profile, which is a new profile section under the settings app. This essentially lets users access a single-page report that has info on the particular user's contact, security, payment, iCloud, and App Store settings.

A hidden new feature called the Floating iPad keyboard has also been discovered, which essentially gives iPad users the option to call out a one handed keyboard that can be dragged and pinned anywhere on the screen.

Some of the other minute changes, via Macrumors, includes some new app animations, new iCloud storage graphical info, weather access in Apple maps, and an updated new file system that automatically transitions an iPad or iPhone's file system from HFS+ to the new Apple File System (APFS) protocol.
