Avid fans of Apple Inc. have been eagerly waiting for the iPad Air 3 and iPad Mini 5 release schedule since these tablets doesn't make its expected appearance last year. Now, rumor mills had turned stating that these handsets were predicted to be unveiled March this year.

According to Digital Trends, Apple is believed to announce a new iPad 9.7-inch version at a lower price which might be the iPad Air 3. As of the moment, this range has been occupied by the iPad Air 2, but it was presented at the end of 2014, so is definitely ready for its successor.

Also, it can be recalled that reports way back in October last year stated that an iPad Air 3 may arrive in March 2017 and it still continues to spread now. Some talks say it may be the last Air-branded tablet from Apple. The Air 3 is also predicted to boast a thinner body, perhaps down to just 5mm, an Apple A9X processor, and a pair of improved cameras. Moreover, water and dust resistance were revealed, together with a higher resolution screen.

On the other hand, TechAdvisor reported that iPad Mini 5 might be equipped with Series 7000 aluminum making it more durable and it might also be 5mm thick. It is also believed to be boasting Retina Display with 3D Touch. An IP68 certification is also one of the anticipated features of the upcoming iPad Mini making it water and dust proof.

Under its chassis, one might find an A9 processor and M9 motion co-processor along with 32GB and 128GB variety of storages. The iPad Mini 5 might come outside the box pre-installed with iOS 10. Lastly, it is expected that the upcoming iPad mini-series will be fortified with Apple Pencil and Apple might also ditched the headphone port.

If the iPad Air 3 and iPad Mini 5 will be launched in March, it's just a matter of two months waiting. But then, as Apple hasn't confirmed that information yet, it should be taken with a grain of salt.
