Westworld releases a Super Bowl LII teaser for the upcoming second season, which shows the uprising of the hosts is only just beginning.

Super Bowl LII Teaser

Backed by a cover of Kanye West's "Runaway," the dramatic footage features the stunning landscapes of Westworld and a number of chaotic fights. the voice-over by Dolores, however, is the most haunting part of it as her words hint at war and host liberation.

The trailer begins with Dolores talking about the beauty of Westworld, its ethos of making dreams come true and setting people free. Images of serene vistas flash on the screen.

"But this world is a lie," she says as the footage changes to fighting and robotic bulls pitted against humans. "This world deserves to die. Because this is your world. We've lived by your rules long enough. We can save this world. We can burn it to the ground. And from the ashes build a new world. Our world."

The clip shows a few shots of some of the main characters including Dolores, Thandie Newton's Maeve, Jeffrey Wright's Bernard, Ed Harris' Man in Black, Angela Sarafyan's Clementine, and Ben Barnes' Logan among others.

The Westworld trailer is the HBO's first Super Bowl ad in 20 years and it has given fans of the show a glimpse of the action in its much-awaited sophomore season. However, those who are hunting for clues from the teaser should take the scenes shown here with a grain of salt.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Westworld cocreator and showrunner Jonah Nolan shot the footage specifically for the Super Bowl LII ad. This means that not all of it will appear in the actual season two episodes.
