The chart-topping singer, songwriter and producer The Dream and his fiance Lydia Nam reportedly welcomed a baby.

Media Takeout reported on July 8 that the couple welcomed a son into the world. Previous rumors suggested they were expecting twins. The birth date and weight details for the newborn were not revealed, but the couple is schedule to get married this summer, according to the report.

The Dream confirmed his relationship with Nam during an interview with New York radio station Power 105's morning show The Breakfast Club in April.

The Dream (real name Terius Nash) was asked by the show's veejays, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God, if he was dating a young Asian woman with his name tattooed on her body. After he confirmed their relationship, the veejays asked if there was any truth to the rumors about his fiance' being a scandalous celebrity groupie in the past, based on a report they read about Lydia in Bossip.com.

Yee said the Bossip report claimed Lydia announced her engagement to The Dream via social media and Nam, a Toronto native, was charged with endangering her first child.

Yee said the report also claims that she is a popular escort in Toronto. The Dream refused to address the claims but said he preferred "bad girls" and strippers because they are more mature.

The Dream has four children from his first two marriages. He has three children with his first wife, 1990s singer Nivea. He welcomed his fourth child, Violet, during his brief marriage to singer Christina Milian, who he wed in Las Vegas in September, 2009. Milan gave birth to Violet in March, 2010.

Us Weekly reported in July, 2010 that The Dream and Milian parted ways after photos surfaced of the award-winning songwriter and producer displaying major PDA to his then assistant Melissa Santiago, during a Caribbean trip.

The Dream is a chart-topping song maker who wrote the several hit singles, including Justin Bieber's Baby, Beyonce's Single Ladies and Run The World (Girls), Ciara's Ride, Jamie Foxx's Just Like Me, Mariah Carey's Touch My Body and Rihanna's Umbrella and Birthday Cake.
