GQ released a list of the 25 Worst Rappers of All Time on Tuesday, including some arguably surprising choices like Too $hort and Eazy-E.

In addition to one-hit-wonders like Vanilla Ice, and celebrities like Madonna and Will Smith, the list includes a few potentially controversial choices.

Longtime rapper Too $hort comes in at No. 21 on this list for what GQ writer Rob Tannenbaum calls "an unusually long career." Too $hort is one of the most prolific members of West Coast hip-hop, known for his collaborations with Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G.  Complex writer David Drake bashed Too $hort's inclusion on the list, saying that he's a "genuine legend."

Similarly, Drake disagreed with the publication's inclusion of Eazy-E, who he also called a "genuine legend."  According to the magazine, however, the rapper is "a one-dimensional gasbag with the rhythmic grace of a dot-matrix printer."

Topping the list of worst rappers of all time was Insane Clown Posse, who the magazine said simply, "live[s] to sell peripheral products."

Pitbull came in at No. 9 on the list, despite his collaborations with artists like Jennifer Lopez and Christina Aguilera. The magazine said he "specializes in mind-numbing Eurodisco about hot girls and nightlife, with witless, winking reminders of his heritage."

Diddy (formerly known as P. Diddy and Puff Daddy) came in at No. 6 because "as a mumbly, indistinct rapper, he wouldn't be signed to any label he didn't own."  The publicaton listed the fact that he's been mocked on The Daily Show, South Park and The Onion as other reasons for his inclusion.

The list also bashed singers like Prince and Madonna for their attempts at rapping in the '90s and 2000s, respectively.

Tannenbaum tweeted about his list Tuesday and acknowledged the fact that people were already criticizing it.

"Thanks to GQ for letting me pick the 25 Worst Rappers of All Time & to ppl on Twitter 4 letting me know I'm an idiot."
