Even with Tom "The GOAT" Brady retired, he still seems to be popping up in some interesting places. The golden armed star is taking his fame to the big screen with his new film 80 for Brady, a project which he is not only starring in but producing through his production company 199 Productions.

The film is based on the true story of four best friends and dyed in the wool Patriots fans who embark on a trek to see their hero Tom Brady play in the 2017 Super Bowl LI. Along the way, their journey takes a few missteps leading them to have to find their way around the biggest sporting event of the year.

The pedigree behind for 80 for Brady is something to behold. Grace and Frankie's own Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, along with Sally Field and West Side Story's Rita Moreno will play the four friends, while the screenplay is directed and co-written by Kyle Marvin who will star opposite Jered Leto and Anne Hathaway in the Apple Original Wecrashed on March 18th.

This wouldn't be the first time Tom Brady has been in a mainstream project, having played himself in several films and television both in person and as a voice actor. Though he has only had one role in the 2003 Matt Damon/Greg Kennear comedy Stuck On You where Brady played a character other than himself in a cameo (Computer Geek #1 of all things).

There is no release date as the film is in the early stages of production. Enstarz will keep you posted as more details are revealed.
