Following characters created by the titular comedian, "Martin" has long been recognized for having a huge influence on popular culture, providing a look into Black American life. Notable for its healthy portrayal of Black relationships and featuring young, ambitious leads, "Martin" changed the way Black people were depicted in American media.

Regarding the reunion special, Lawrence said, "To be able to sit here thirty years later with this amazing cast that has had such an impact on pop cultureis truly a blessing. I am always humbled that the fans still want more of the show and its characters. I am looking forward to the reunion special."

The "Martin" reunion special will be launched later this year on BET+ with no definite dates announced. Will you be tuning in to watch the "Martin" reunion special?
