Chrissy Teigen faced the darkest day in her life when she lost her baby boy with John Legend, but she recently took a massive move to expand their family again.

In 2020, Teigen delivered the news about her miscarriage following a number of pregnancy complications. She and Legend then lost their unborn third child following the devastating development.

Years after it happened, the model confirmed that she already took a step in trying to conceive again.

Chrissy Teigen Trying To Have Another Baby

During the 7th annual Hollywood Beauty Awards on Saturday, Teigen spoke with ET's Matt Cohen and revealed that she completed her latest round of in vitro fertilization or IVF. She confirmed undergoing the procedure one month after announcing that she and Legend were trying to have a baby again following the 2020 pregnancy loss.

"I finished my IVF part, so I feel so much healthier and so much better with that," she said. "So, the sobriety journey is fun, we'll see if I'm gonna make it through this awards season with nothing."

While trying to expand their family again, Teigen had a request for her fans, who reportedly keep asking if she is pregnant. While it could be fun to hear it, it also does the opposite since she is not yet pregnant.

Teigen and Legend are trying again almost two years since the model faced pregnancy complications that led to their son's death. According to Teigen, they failed to stop her bleeding while giving the baby all the fluids he needed. She also underwent several transfusions to save the baby.

What Happened to Chrissy Teigen?

At that time, Teigen stayed at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after disclosing that she had been bleeding for less than a month. Legend's wife had been updating her fans that she had been bleeding heavily despite being on bed rest. She further explained that the issues she experienced during her third pregnancy caused her to be hospitalized.

But a week after her admission, she lost baby Jack.

She was already halfway through her third pregnancy when she lost her child, who could have been the baby brother of Luna and Miles. The couple even made the baby news announcement extra special by delivering the news through the singer's "Wild" music video.

It featured Teigen and her baby bump, confirming that she was pregnant with their third child.

In the video, the 34-year-old model played with John and their two kids, Luna (4) and Miles (2), and stood at the shore. Before the song ended, the camera zoomed in on "The Voice" judge who hugged Chrissy from behind.

At the 3:21 mark, Chrissy cradled her baby bump as the camera focused on her.
