Is Dwayne Johnson considering a run for President of the United States of America.

There has been discussion regarding whether or not The Rock will ever run for public office for a number of years.

However, according to a source who spoke to OK magazine, the wrestler-turned-actor is only "totally serious" about finally stepping into the spotlight provided there are people there to support him.

According to the "Jumanji" actor, he has no prior knowledge of politics, but he is a quick learner and is apparently eager to study political science and take a course in the subject.

In an interview with Stephen Colbert in 2018, Johnson stated that he would require himself to "get some experience and have a better understanding of policy" before officially starting a presidential campaign.

The insider went on to claim that Johnson apparently believes he possesses the necessary qualities to bring the country together.

"Dwayne is driven by a desire to bring people together in a positive way. He is dissatisfied with the divide that is taking place, and he believes that a large number of politicians are a bunch of losers."

"It's possible that he's being egocentric, but he believes he can do a better job."

Apart from himself, the source stated that he has the backing of his friends and family members as well.

According to a prior story from the site, Dwayne Johnson has been contemplating a phone call to the White House for quite some time.

In 2017, the former athlete declared, "I would contemplate running for president in the future if it was something the people desired."

However, during the 2020 elections, Johnson publicly endorsed the Joe Biden / Kamala Harris presidential ticket as a whole.

There are a number of people that are rooting for him in addition to The Rock, his friends, and his family.

According to Mick Mulvaney, a former Trump advisor, Dwayne Johnson is a serious presidential candidate for the Republican Party in the year 2024.

In an interview with Politico a few weeks ago, he stated that Johnson has the potential to give other candidates, who are more experienced in politics, a run for their money.

In 2021, the Independent stated that 46 percent of the population wants him to run for President of the United States of America.

The survey questioned 30,138 individuals their opinions on which celebrities they would want to sit in the White House as the country's next leader if they were given the opportunity. The Rock was surveyed to see if he would be a future president of the United States.
