Jesse Williams made headlines over the past few days after an explicit video of him made rounds on Twitter. Recently, the actor broke his silence, and he had a very straightforward reaction. Is he bothered at all?

According to the New York Post, the "Grey's Anatomy" star is a part of Broadway's "Take Me Out" show which requires actors to be fully naked on stage in a specific scene.

Although phones were not allowed inside the venue, one fan managed to sneak in and take a video of him, which sent Twitter fans into a frenzy.

Speaking to the Associated Press, the actor said he's "not down about" what's been happening online as their job is to go out there to put on a show every night, no matter what happens.

"I'm not really worrying about it. I can't sweat that. We do need to keep advocating for ourselves, and it's wonderful to see a community push back and make clear what we do stand for, what we don't," he added.

The 40-year-old star also stressed how important consent is, and he wanted the public to keep it in mind.

Although Williams appeared to be unbothered and okay with the whole situation, co-star Jesse Tyler Ferguson and the venue, 2nd Stage Theatre in New York, have a different stance.

"I'm appalled by the disrespect shown to the actors of our company whose vulnerability on stage every night is crucial to Take Me Out," the "Modern Family" actor wrote online.

In addition, Ferguson shared that any fan who applauds or "trivializes" this kind of behavior is not welcome in the theatre as it has been a safe space for artists and showgoers.

2nd Stage Theatre in New York, the venue of the Broadway show, has also issued a statement about the matter, saying they worked to ensure the privacy of the performance by imposing a "phone-free space with locked phone cases."

The venue noted that they are appalled that their policy has been violated and the unauthorized video has been posted online.

"Taking naked pictures of anyone without their consent is highly objectionable and can have severe legal consequences," they added.

For this incident not to happen in the future, the venue has added more staff members to "enforce the policy."
