Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey have officially broken up.
Lori Harvey and Michael B. Jordan were the OTP the world was following through this last year. From sweet moments to thoughtful comments to iconic pictures, everyone really believed that this couple might just be here for the long haul. However, over the weekend, the popular pairing officially split.
Reports say that Harvey is the one who ultimately called off the relationship. The 25-year-old fashion icon and the well-loved actor are both, according to an article on People, distraught at this end. A source told the publication:
"Michael and Lori are both completely heartbroken...They still love each other...Michael matured a lot over the course of their relationship and was ready to commit for the long term. He let down his guard with her, opening up emotionally in a romantic relationship for the first time...They had great times together and brought out the best in each other."
While the end of any relationship is incredibly sad, especially one where the real love was so evident, people are coming out on Twitter to celebrate Harvey's strength to make such a difficult decision. One Twitter user decidedly wrote, "If anything, women SHOULD date like Lori Harvey. You like what you like, and when it's no longer GIVING, be done with it. You're not married."
