Joe Iconis releases new 44 track album titled Album featuring an startlingly magnificent slate of Broadway powerhouses.

It is a day for MUSIC! From Drake to Santonio Fontana, today is for music what we can only equate to a mass-prision break as seen in a movie. However, Joe Iconis has gone above and beyond. Iconis, the man behind the well-loved musical Be More Chill, released a 44 track album today. The album titled Album, which is funny to say but difficult to write about, was released today featuring appearances from an incredible list of Broadway alums. These collaborators include superstars such as Aaron Tveit, Andrew Rannells, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Krysta Rodriguez, Kerry Butler, George Salazar, and Will Roland.  Every song on the album was written by Iconis.

The intention of the album is to celebrate the work of Iconis and simulteanously bring together the exciting, eclectic group that is brought in by his music. The album description speaks to just that. It pointedly reads:

"Album is the new virtuosic song-collection from notorious New York City musical theater punks Joe Iconis & Family, featuring 44 songs all written by Iconis himself. Album hurtles through a cocktail of musical genres as its Rogue's Gallery of misfit children, reckless adults, and various assorted creatures sing their stories of love, hope, murder, resilience, and connection.

"Sprawling in its scope and intimate in its subject matter, the songs are a showcase of Iconis's singular ability to find moments of drama in the seemingly mundane. Gentle acoustic love ballads sit next to indie-rock stadium shout-alongs on an album that is both sweetly nostalgic and explosively contemporary. Featuring never-before-heard songs as well as Iconis classics recorded for the first time, this is a rowdy, erudite, epic record made for a world on fire. Family is forever. Come be part of ours."

We cannot wait to binge listen to the album Album over and over again.
