A verdict in Bill Cosby's civil lawsuit was already in the works, but the jury was compelled to restart the deliberations.

According to Radar Online, after two days of deliberation last Friday, the jury agreed on eight of the nine issues needed to make a conclusion on whether or not Cosby molested Judy Huth at the Playboy Mansion when she was a teenager in 1970.

However, before they could conclude, the judge, Craig Karlan, informed the jurors that they would redo the deliberations again on June 20.

Because of a prior obligation, the judge had already assured a jury member that they may leave following Friday's deliberations.

Deputies then came at the Santa Monica courtroom at 4:30 PM, notifying them that the courthouse was forced to close at that hour with no exceptions since overtime pay for the deputies had not been budgeted for.

This meant that the court would have to either force the discharged jury to return on Monday or restart deliberations with a new juror.

"I won't go back on my word," the judge said.

According to NPR, this comes after the famed comedian's lawyer, Jennifer Bonjean, requested a mistrial when a juror was photographed standing close Cosby's accuser, Lily Bernard, who was seated in the courtroom audience.

The court denied the mistrial because he believes there is no proof that they ever interacted.

"I never spoke to any jury, ever," Bernard claimed to the judge. "I would never endanger this case in any way. I don't even bother looking at them."

In May, Bill Cosby's legal team accused Huth of altering the facts of her account after Cosby allegedly acted improperly with her at the Playboy Mansion.

According to Michael Freedman, they submitted a petition to terminate sanctions because Huth "now confesses that she was not 15 years old when she was 'abused' by Defendant at the Playboy house and that the event did not occur in 1974 as she has always maintained."

The publication went on to suggest that, as a result of the accusation, a whole new scenario has emerged, adding that the event occurred in February or March of 1975, soon after her 17th birthday.

Jury deliberations in Bill Cosby's civil case are expected to resume on June 20.
