Sandra Bullock has done a lot in her career - everything from comedy to drama.  She scored an Academy Award for her role in The Blind Side. She started her own production company with Fortis Films, which produced her latest hit The Lost City, which grossed over $185 million worldwide.

But even the greats need to take some time to relax.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the Gravity star discussed how she is ready to take a break from the rigors of Hollywood and spend some time with her family:

"I don't want to be beholden to anyone's schedule other than my own. I'm so burnt out. I'm so tired, and I'm so not capable of making healthy, smart decisions and I know it."

Always a wise decision - but this wouldn't be the first time she has expressed the desire to slow down a bit and get back to what really matters in her life. In March, Bullock told Harper's Bazaar:

"I take my job very seriously when I'm at work. And I just want to be 24/7 with my babies and my family. That's where I'm gonna be for a while."

Bullock understands the importance of work, though even being successful can be unfulfilling after a while,

"Work has always been steady for me, and I've been so lucky. I realized it possibly was becoming my crutch.

"It was like opening up a fridge all the time and looking for something that was never in the fridge. I said to myself, 'Stop looking for it here because it doesn't exist here. You already have it; establish it, find it and be OK not having work to validate you.'"

Surely this won't be the last we hear from Sandra Bullock; we hope she gets a well-earned rest.
