Ricky Martin made headlines over the past few months after he faced some serious allegations after a judge in Puerto Rico reportedly signed a restraining order against him that had to be dated for months. More recently, the identity of his alleged partner has been revealed.

According to Advocate, Martin and his partner separated two months ago. The restraining order states that the singer couldn't accept their breakup so he had been stalking him around the area of his house.

Today, Marca reported that the person who requested the restraining order was Martin's own nephew, Dennis Yodiel Sanchez.

Throughout their seven-month relationship, the outlet noted that Sanchez suffered from being physically and emotionally abused by his uncle.

A court hearing has been scheduled and will begin on July 21.

Since there have been allegations of incest, the "Livin' La Vida Loca" hitmaker could face up to 50 years in prison.

The recent news comes a few weeks after AP news reported that a restraining order was filed against Martin under Puerto Rico's domestic violence law.

The order will prevent the singer from "approaching, harassing, intimidating, threatening or in any other way interfering" with the then-unidentified man.

He's also not allowed to communicate with the alleged victim's friends and family members.

A spokesperson of the singer issued a brief statement to People Magazine, saying "the allegations against Ricky Martin that [led] to a protection order are completely false and fabricated."

They added that Martin's camp is confident that when the facts come out, the singer would be fully vindicated.

This is not the only issue the "La Copa de la Vida" singer is facing as his former manager, Rebecca Drucker, alleged that he had over $3 million-worth of unpaid commissions.

The manager worked with the star from 2014 to 2018 and again from 2020 to 2022.

Martin reportedly refused to pay her commissions after working for him by managing documents such as contracts, deals, and many more.

Aside from not paying her properly, Drucker also alleged that she was forced to resign a few months ago because of a "toxic work environment" as the Puerto Rican star mistreated and manipulated her.

As of this writing, Ricky Martin or his team has yet to release a statement regarding the issue.
