Sylvester Stallone has never been one to shy away from a fight. Or, at least, that can be said for his on-screen persona of boxing champion Rocky Balboa.

But recently, Sly took to Instagram to air some major grievances towards Irwin Winkler, producer of the Rocky and Creed franchises - and his unwillingness to share the rights to the Italian Stallion.

Stallone, who was nominated for both his writing of the Rocky screenplay and his acting in the 1977 classic sports film, has taken to his Instagram page to post two disturbing illustrations, one from Sunday of Irwin, and one of Irwin and his family.

The first shows the producer with a knife for a tounge and a snake body, with the caption reading:

"A VERY Flattering portrait of The Great Rocky/ Creed Producer , IRWIN WINKLER, from one of the country's greatest artist ... ALSO after IRWIN controlling ROCKY for over 47 years , and now CREED...

I really would like have at least a little WHAT's LEFT of my RIGHTS back, before passing it on to ONLY YOUR CHILDREN - I believe That would be a FAIR gesture from this 93 year old gentleman ? ... This is a painful subject That eats at my soul , because I wanted to leave something of Rocky for my children, but it's always great hearing from the loyal fans... Keep Punching"

The second, posted on Monday, depicts the Winklers as a family of blood drooling Nosferatus, with Irwin's wife Margo holding the Rocky rights in her gnarled fingers. It reads:

WELCOME TO THE REAL ROCKY HORROR SHOW!! We are Very happy Rocky Producer IRWIN AND MARGO and FAMILY are staying heathy and very well fed while CONTROLLING All of the ROCKY FILMS FOR ALMOST 50 YEARS ! Bon appétit! KeepPunching!

Now this all seems like Sly is being a poor sport about the whole situation, though it is understandable that he might be angry, given his star was made with the first Rocky in 1977, which he also wrote at a time when deals in Hollywood weren't always as litigious as they are nowadays.
