Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin might prove that "love is sweeter the second time around."

A month after Flavin filed for divorce from Stallone, a news outlet confirmed that the estranged couple reconciled and planned to make their marriage work again.

In a report shared by PEOPLE on Friday, it revealed that the couple decided to fix things between them after the divorce filing. The documents, which she filed on Aug. 19, stated that the 54-year-old matriarch wanted to split because he "engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion and/or waste of marital assets which has had an adverse economic impact on the marital estate."

Part of her filing demanded the court prohibit him from selling and spending their assets amid the divorce process.

"They've decided to let it ride again. They just decided to reverse course and try again," a source said.

This resonated with what Stallone's representative told Page Six on Friday, saying that the couple met again at home and talked about their marriage. They reportedly managed to work out their differences and felt happy with their conversation's outcome.

Another insider said that Stallone and Flavin's differences made everything irritating for both of them. Unfortunately, those little disagreements reportedly piled up after years of being unresolved. Thus, Flavin felt she already had enough because of continuous "spinning in a circle" because of those issues.

Meanwhile, a news outlet alleged that Flavin decided to split after fighting over whether or not her husband could have a new dog.
