It's finally THAT emotional time again in every parent's journey for actress Angelina Jolie: Sending her daughter Zahara off to college.

Jolie shared the exciting news on her Instagram that her daughter was bound for Spelman college by posting a photo of Zahara with her fellow schoolmates. "Zahara with her Spelman sisters!" the actress captioned her post.

The actress was also captured in a video being asked how she was feeling as her daughter is off on her first year at Spelman College, and she responded: "I'm going to start crying! I haven't started crying yet."

However, this wasn't the first time that the "Maleficent" star had to send off her children to college. In 2019, Jolie sent off her son to study in South Korea to pursue post-secondary education opportunities.

Ex-husband Brad Pitt had also shared with Vanity Fair that he's "proud" of his daughter and this next stage of her adult life. It seems like the "Fight Club" star is just as emotional as Zahara's mother, Angelina. Pitt also commented that thinking about it "brings a tear to the eye."

"She's so smart. She's going to flourish even more at college," he said. "It's an exciting and beautiful time to find her own way and pursue her interests. I'm so proud." Pitt expressed.

The Brad and Angelina Co-parenting Situation

Almost everyone knows about the bitter fallout of Brangelina, with a divorce battle that lasted longer than their marriage. The divorce had led to an intense legal battle over the Château Miraval winery, a business that Pitt and Jolie co-owned while they were married.

Despite the messy timeline of the Brangelina divorce, the pair are reportedly handling co-parenting very well despite their initially "hostile" relationship.

After the couple divorced in September 2016, Angelina opened up to Vanity Fair about their co-parenting journey. "We care for each other and care about our family, and we are both working towards the same goal," the actress explained.

An insider tells US Weekly that Brad "loves being a parent and has tried to make the best of a tricky situation given how hostile it's been with Angelina."

The formerly-wed couple share six kids together-Maddox (21 years old), Pax (18 years old), Zahara (17 years old), Shiloh (16 years old), and twins Knox and Vivienne (14 years old).
