Angelina Jolie has won a small battle, but she still has a war to fight.

According to Page Six, she has won her court battle with Brad Pitt for the Chateau Miraval winery.

When Pitt and Jolie moved into the chateau in 2008, they assumed ownership of the corporation. However, the "Tomb Raider" star recently sold her stock to liquor manufacturer Stoli, triggering a maze of litigation in the United States, France, and Luxembourg between the former power couple and their many business partners.

The legal battle began when Pitt sold her shares in Stoli to Russian tycoon Yuri Shefler without his authorization.

Though the star stated that she could sell her stake in the firm, they allegedly agreed that he would have final clearance from the buyer before the transaction took place.

The "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" star then sued his ex-wife after being astonished that she sold her stake in their vineyard without first gaining his consent, accusing her of withholding this information on purpose.

However, following the victory, Jolie's team is subpoeaning papers from the "Ad Astra" actor, his business manager, and his firm, Mondo Bongo.

A court has finally ordered Brad Pitt to turn over the requested documents.

"Any logical human being would be thrilled for Stoli to [be a partner in their firm," a source told Page Six. "They have excellent marketing and distribution."

"He just can't get over his dislike for Jolie."

An individual close to Pitt, however, stated that he was dissatisfied with the business agreement since he earlier turned down an offer from Stoli to acquire shares in the firm before to his divorce from Angelina Jolie.

"The greatest method to maintain value for [their children] is for the parents to retain full ownership of this more valuable and developing asset," they explained.

Brad Pitt's Company

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt invested in Quimicum, which owns Chateau Miraval, in 2008.

At the time, the "Oceans Eleven" actor owned 60% of the firm and named it Mondo Bongo, while the "Maleficent" actress owned 40% and christened it Nouvel.

Pitt agreed in 2013 to have his firm transfer some shares to Nouvel in order to balance their ownership, with the understanding that they would not sell their commercial interests in Miraval without each other's approval.
